No troubles, calamity, sickness or darkness. Nothing can separate us from God's love if we believe on the Lord Jesus. If He gave his only Son for us why would he ever leave us? If we live by the dictates of sin, we will die. But if we live by and in His Spirit we live.
Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.
How I want to please God! Worry is sinful. Self-pity, complaining and bitterness are sinful. Oh Lord! May I not have a spirit such as these but one of purity, happiness, self-control, love, kindness, joy and praise with a good attitude.
Through Christ, we belong to Him. God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins. How magnificent!
I may fail, experience sorrows and hardships, weakness, sadness and lose all I have but I will always have His love.
As with many of you we are going through trials and extremely difficult times. I may have days were the sin of worry creeps up on me , but on the whole I am secure. I am made complete through Him... through His love. What joy is in that security and how wonderful that through trials God brings me to complete surrender....

looking for treasures under the pump organ
Yep, It's ugly and it's fruit
Not much in it but it was sweet
I can just drown in those eyes.... in them, I see the gift of God
