... Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. {Luke 2:19}
This This verse has always stirred my innermost emotions. Can you fathom? Imagine the year Mary had just endured?
Envision having just given birth to this God-child...the Savior... Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. So many emotions aroused.
She pondered these things in her heart. She kept them. keep/kept: to hold or retain in one's possession. to hold in a given place She kept Him in her heart. God come down.
The genesis of a new year is upon us. A time or revival and refreshing. A time for pondering Him in our hearts, keeping Him deep where the still places are ~ filling that hole, redeeming transgressions, comforting heartache, gifting us with a fresh hope.

We have been bombarded with snow squalls and gifts of love from friends and family this Holiday season. Teeming blessings of the heart abound in our life. We have had lots of company and we love sharing hospitality with visitors! For those who wished to see the snow, it was given to them in abundance. As I sit in our little cabin in the woods, the littles around me (as well as one of my sons who is stuck in the snow up here), I am at peace. A little cabin feavered, but my soul is still.
I have tons of photos to share in the next few weeks! For now, I hope you enjoy these photos from the littles Christmas card session.... yes, it is sort of difficult for me to throw them in the studio and be serious.
I mean, they are such angels
and always so accomadating. OK, that was just small sample of a session with mom now here are some we actually used
